1990 Census CD-ROMs for Wyoming



1. STF 1A:

Content -- 100% data. Population by age by sex by race/Hispanic origin, household type and relationship; Housing by race by Hispanic origin, occupancy/vacancy, tenure, units in structure, contract rent, value, and rooms in unit; one general profile was provided.

Geographic Coverage -- State, counties, cities and towns (incorporated places), census tracts/BNAs, block groups, Am indian reservation.



2. STF 1B:

Content -- 100% data. Very limited information in the block level. Population by race; Housing occupancy, tenure, mean value and mean contract rent.

Geographic Coverage -- State, counties, cities and towns, census tracts/BNAs, block groups, blocks, and reservation.



3. STF 1C:

Content -- 100% data. It contains the same information as STF 1A, but for the entire United States.

Geographic Coverage -- United States, regions, divisions, states, counties, cities of 1,000 or more persons, urbanized areas, Am indian reservations.



4. STF 3A:

Content -- Sample data weighted to represent total population. Detailed social and economic data on labor force, income and poverty, education, disability, veteran status, marital and work status, migration, occupation and much more by age, race/Hispanic; housing data on occupancy, structural characteristics, vehicles, mortgages, and utilization by age and race of householder; four profiles were also provided.

Geographic coverage -- State, counties, cities and towns, census tracts/BNAs, block groups, and American indian reservations

Extra copies of this CD-ROM are available in our office free of charge.



5. STF 3B:

Content -- Sample data weighted to represent total population. It contains the same information as STF 3A, but by 5-digit ZIP code.

Geographic Coverage -- 5-digit ZIP Code areas within the state.



6. STF 3C:

Content -- Sample data weighted to represent total population. It contains the same information as STF 3A, but for the entire United States.

Geographic Coverage -- United States, regions, divisions, states, counties, cities of 1,000 or more persons, urbanized areas, Am indian reservations.




7. Landview II:

Content -- Landview II includes the complete Bureau of Census TIGER/Line '92 files. These files are data containing spatial characteristics of street, rivers, railroads, and other landmarks. It can also displays EPA-regulated sites, and basic demographic information, such as population by age and race, household and family, housing tenure, and area.

Geographic Boundary -- State, counties, cities and towns, census tracts/BNAs, block groups.



8. Landview II (U.S. Summary):

Content -- It contains the same information as Landview II except roads and streets, but covers the entire nation.

Geographic Boundary -- States, counties, census tracts/BNAs, and block group centroids.



9. Landview III:

It is a Window version, and also had more features.



10.TIGER/Census Tract Street Index:

Content -- It links street names and address ranges to census tract and other geographic codes. It is a listing of all the streets in a county, address ranges on the streets, and the corresponding census tract or block numbering area codes for each address range. Only city style addresses are included.

Geographic coverage -- entire United States.



11.EEO:

Content -- Sample data weighted to represent total population. It shows detailed (512) occupations and their aggregated groups, cross tabulated by sex, race and Hispanic origin. It also contains educational attainment by age by sex by race/Hispanic.

Geographic coverage -- United states, states, counties, and cities with 50,000 or more persons.



12.Public Law 94-171:

Content -- 100% data. Total population by race and Hispanic origin, population 18 years and over by race and Hispanic, and counts of housing units.

Geographic Coverage -- States, counties, cities and towns, census tracts/BNAs, and blocks; voting districts, and Am indian reservations.



13. School District Data Book (U.S. Summary):

Content -- detailed general population and household characteristics, detailed financial profiles, ans detailed administrative profiles.

Geographic Coverage -- United States, states, counties, and school districts.



14. Special Tabulation on Aging:

Content -- Detailed population, household, social and economic information for persons 50 years and over. This CD cannot run in Window NT.

Geographic Coverage -- State, counties, census tracts/BNAs, cities with 2,500 or more persons, and Am indian reservation.
