Demographic Profiles are now available: 4 tables providing Census 2000 data on population and household, social, economic, and housing characteristics. Examples are age and sex distribution, race, Hispanic origin, household relationship and type, household and family size, housing occupancy and tenure, education, disability, employment, occupation, income, poverty, housing structure and value.
Summary File 1 (SF1): includes detailed information on population, household, and housing characteristics collected from all people and housing units, such as age, sex, household type, and group quarter data cross tabulated by race and Hispanic origin. American Indians by specific tribes, Asian and Hispanic population by specific origin are also provided. SF1 contains 286 tables for states, counties, county subdividions, places, census tracts, block groups, blocks, ZIP code tabulation areas, as well as Indian Reservations.
Summary File 3 (SF3): based on the responses to the census long-form questionnaire delivered to a 1-in-6 sample of all households. The 484 population tables cover such subjects as marital status, place of birth, migration, place of work, commuting to work, education, veteran status, disability, employment by industry and occupation, earning, income, and poverty status. The 329 housing tables include data on rooms, moving, structure age, plumbing facilities, vehicles available, value of home, rent and mortgage costs. SF3 tables are available for states, counties, county subdividions, places, census tracts, block groups, ZIP code tabulation areas, as well as Indian Reservations.
